I prefer to drive and not fly, can I get all my mileage reimbursed?
Mileage will be reimbursed at $0.63/km over 50 km round trip, up to an equivalent maximum of an EconoFlex airfare. If you choose this option, please take a screenshot of an EconoFlex ticket from your local airport for the dates of your session.
I prefer to book a fare higher than EconoFlex for my flight, is that okay?
Yes, please book what you are comfortable with, but the upgrade will be at your own expense. Please take a screen shot of the EconoFlex fare on the same date that you book your other ticket, this will be required during your expense submission.
Do you have shuttle recommendations?
Past participants have used both of the below, we welcome you choosing an option that best suits your needs

There is a gravel parking lot and a beautiful river to walk along during the breaks, so we encourage you to dress comfortably. To get from the parking lot to the gathering space requires navigating an unpaved path. The room has a lovely fireplace we often use throughout the year, so consider wearing layers to help you regulate your temperature needs.

We will not be supplying a full breakfast or dinner, but you are free to explore the many food offerings Squamish provides. While we are not able to cover meals or per diems outside of the session, there are some great restaurants in the area that we’d highly recommend making a reservation at and checking out! Below are some of our team favorites:
Brackendale Art Gallery Cafe (vegetarian and vegan): https://brackendaleartgallery.com/cafe/
Essence of India (delicious and comforting): https://www.essenceofindiarestaurant.com/
Pepe’s Chophouse (comfort food with a broad menu) https://www.pepeschophouse.com/
Saha Eatery (Middle Eastern): https://sahaeatery.ca/
Salted Vine (upscale PNW fare): https://saltedvine.ca/
Sunflower Bakery & Cafe: https://www.sunflowerbakerycafe.com/
Taka Ramen (local favorite ramen & sushi) https://takaramensushi.com/

We do not offer childcare on site, but have used Babysitting Whistler in the past.
-
We recommend the local dog care facility Barkendale, which is under 10-minutes' drive to the Sunwolf. They would be happy to make sure your four-legged family members get the attention and activity they deserve while you are gathering with us.

Enjoy your time in Squamish
Whether you’re looking for things to do outside of our sessions, or are travelling with a partner or family members, Squamish has a wide selection of things to do and see.
Halfway between Vancouver and Whistler, where the Coast Mountains meet the mouth of Howe Sound, Squamish is steeped in adventure and rich with culture.
Sharing a passion for nature and community, Explore Squamish showcases the variety of opportunities there are to get out and experience the beauty of the area.
Some of our teams' favorite spots include the Sea to Sky Gondola, Sp’aw’kus Feather Park, Four Lakes Trail/Alice Lake, and the Squamish Estuary.
